1.    What is the easiest way to get to the Hotel Weitzer?
Our address is Grieskai 12-16, 8020 Graz.
For more detailed route planning see http://maps.google.com/ or http://www.de.maps24.com

2.    Where is the hotel car park and is it possible to make a reservation?
Our City Weitzer Garage is right next to the hotel, simply drive 30 metres further along Grieskai. You will get your ticket directly at the en-trance to the car park. You are welcome to unload your luggage in front of the hotel before parking your car. Unfortunately we are unable to of-fer reservations as it is a public car park and we have no control over the number of free spaces.

3.    How much does the car park cost?
Our hotel guests can purchase a 24-hour ticket at a special price of EUR 10.50.

4.    Does the hotel offer a valet parking service?
How does the expression go? Women and cars should be kept close at hand, which is why we prefer to leave your car in your hands. But as so often in life, at the Weitzer exceptions also prove the rule!

5.    Is there Internet access at hotel? How much does it cost?
You can access the Internet in all of our guest rooms and in the lobby quickly and easily using WLAN. Internet access is free for our guests.

6.    How much does the Weitzer charge for an additional person sleeping in an extra bed?
Children from 0 to 5.99 years can stay for free and breakfast is included. Children up to the age of 11.99 years pay EUR 14.50 and all children over this age pay EUR 29.00 per night, excluding breakfast.
You are also welcome to bring your pet(s) at a cost of EUR 12.00 per day, not including food.

7.    How can I get to the hotel using public transport from the rail-way station or the airport?
The best way to reach us from the railway station is to take tram num-ber 3 or 6 which both stop directly in front of the station. Lines 1 and 7 are just one stop from the station. The best place to get off the tram is Südtirolerplatz/Kunsthaus. From here it is just a short walk to the hotel.
From the airport we recommend you take the bus number 630/631.

8.    Do you offer a laundry and ironing service?
Of course! Our external partner is available from Monday to Saturday and even on Sunday in emergencies! Just ask at the reception.

9.    Does the hotel have a fitness studio?
On the fifth floor you will find our small but perfectly formed fitness and relaxation area. From 5 pm until 10 pm daily our sauna and steam bath facilities are available to you. During the day you can use our treadmills etc. to really put your body through its paces. Towels are available in the fitness and relaxation area and slippers and bathrobes can be ordered at the reception at a charge of EUR 3.00.

10.    Do you offer smoking rooms?
For your health's sake, we kindly ask you not to smoke in our rooms as well as in the bar area and in the restaurant. But you can enjoy your guilty pleasure in the coffee house "Kaffee Weitzer" and in a separate area of the “Steirer” restaurant.

11.    Is it possible to make a reservation without using a credit card?
Yes, if you arrive before 4 pm. If you plan to arrive after this time then we need your credit card details in order to guarantee your reservation. The one exception is New Year’s Eve – you either need to give your credit card details or you can also pay in advance.
A credit card guarantee simply means a guaranteed reservation; at the time of booking we won’t charge anything to your card. We will only charge your card when you check out or if you don’t turn up and haven’t cancelled your booking in time. In this case, we will charge you for the first night.

12.    When can I check in? By when do I have to vacate my room?
You are welcome to check into your room from 2 pm onwards. An earli-er arrival can also be organised on request. The room is yours until 11 am on the day of your departure. Should you need it for a bit longer then just chat to the staff at reception – or you could just decide to stay another night!

13.    What time is breakfast?
Our heavenly breakfast buffet is available for you to enjoy from 6.30 until 10.30 am and on Saturday, Sunday and bank holidays it is available until 11 am. If you are still running a bit late then you can have breakfast even later in our coffee house, making your selection from the menu.

14.    Is there a hotel restaurant?
Yes, and it is one of the best in the city! Simply leave by the side exit, turn left around the corner and you will immediately see the “Steirer” where you will find specialities including the best Styrian breaded chicken and Styrian tapas. But do consider making a reservation, or you might find yourself without a table!

15.    What can I take home for my loved ones?
Even when it comes to gifts, we’ve got it covered.  The “Steirer” also in-cludes a shop where you can buy the best Styrian wines and tasty pumpkin seed oil. Or were you thinking of flowers? In that case, you will find a fantastic selection at our “Blumeninsel” florist.

16.    Did someone say “Mercedes”?
In the warmer months of the year you are welcome to hire our Mercedes convertible at EUR 69.00 per day plus the cost of fuel and head out to paint the town red, and maybe the surrounding areas too! But just like at the “Steirer”, don’t forget to make your reservation in good time!
